Makeup Revolution £1 Lipstick Swatches

It's no surprise that Makeup Revolution are pretty much the make-up brand of the year, just an opinion. But with how well their pallets and their lipsticks have been selling over the past 12 months, the hype from this brand just hasn't gone away. I see countless amounts of posts floating around the blogging world about these lipsticks, and this has only been my second purchase of them (crazy i know). I picked up a few i hadn't already purchased, i think i have around 11 shades now, if you didn't know i really do love these Lipsticks and for the price of £1 the quality you're getting is so so good. I really love the shade of Bliss, i didn't expect it to be such a peachy colour but i know it's going to be perfect for the warmer days next year. Another gorgeous deep red from Passion, Makeup Revolution have a strong pallet of reds and each shades are nothing but pretty, darker shades of the range. Dusky was a random pick for me, as i don't normally go for shimmery shades but this is a perfect pink which for me isn't too standout-ish, a perfect everyday colour i reckon.

I can never say bad about this range of Lipsticks, my only complaint last time was the looseness of the lids (which was pretty much at the start of their range earlier this year) and the lids seem so much better! It's great that they listen to what we say, it's like we matter in production, they want us to be at our happiest with the product we're getting. If you haven't picked up a few shades, i suggest you do. Superdrug are always filling their shelves with them, so go get some while they're still in stock!

Real Techniques DUPES for Under £3!

I have previously written about these brushes, some time last year i think? I had just purchased them and having never used a Real Techniques brush, i didn't have much to compare to, so i thought i'd do an updated post about these wonderful Dupes i found. When i first started blogging, i had no job, which meant little money. I lusted after Real Techniques brushes for so long but i knew i could never afford them. I have been a lover of bargains since i started having pocket money, so eBay was always a favourite website of mine, you really can trust the sellers and know that you're getting a good bargain. I originally purchased these two brushes for under £2 from a Hong Kong seller, but i managed to find some more from London, for just a little bit more.

I'll start off with the design, yes it's pretty much very similar to Real Techniques brushes with the rubber bottom and a frosted colour leading up to the brush itself. A simple yet smart design. The handle itself is curved which i really like as i find it easier to hold in my hands, a perfect fit. Now the brush itself, after using the Real Techniques buffing brush, you know how soft those bristles are, well the dupes are so much more softer, you wouldn't believe. They are pretty much exactly the same size as the RT brushes so you're not getting any less at all. It's an all round comfortable brush to use and they last forever, i don't think I've washed my buffing brush properly yet and it's still soft as ever and there's been next to no bristles breaking off and falling apart. For what you're paying, it's a deal you're crazy not to try. Even if the brushes aren't for you, you really aren't losing out money wise, like you would if you separately bought a RT brush.

I highly recommend any newbie to make-up to try these, which i still consider myself as. No shame here, i just never expanded my options in the make-up world til this year and these brushes really have helped me to use different products i never thought of trying.

Design: ♥♥♥♥♥
Usage: ♥♥♥♥♥
Value: ♥♥♥♥♥
I overall give it a 5/5, i really can't fault these brushes at all and i highly recommend you trying them. You can buy them here on eBay, if you have a browse there's sets of them you can buy for even better value, which is crazy.

Glossybox November 2014

With this months Glossybox, a very cute designed box full of goodies to help battle the dryness of skin and hair this winter. I don't know if that was Glossybox's idea, or even they knew what i needed in my head, but whatever they thought, they thought good! My skin has been awful this past month, the cold is really getting to me and drying up faster than i can even blink. The H20+ Face Oasis was a perfect little sample to help me keep my skin feeling more alive, only a small amount is needed for coverage which is also amazing. I was happy to spot a Burts Bees item in the box as i had never even thought to try this brand before (no idea why) and it's a lovely little edition. Of course, with the ongoing cold weather destroying every part of my face, my lips definitely needed some TLC and it was a perfect product to help with my chapped lips. I don't normall go for glosses if you didn't already know, but once again this surprised me and it wasn't sticky on my lips at all (yay!)

I'm still trying out the other three items but it's always great finding brands i'd never heard of, always broadening my beauty knowledge, it's great! Has anyone else tried these products? Let me know!
