Barry M Quick Dry Polishes

(Lap of Honour in picture)

Last week Barry M finally released to the eager public their new range of nail polishes. With a guarantee of it drying at 'lightening speed', the new Speedy Quick Dry polishes are a range of gorgeous pastels each with quirky names relating to Speed which i found pretty cute, i love things like that, the little things matter! It was hard for me not to pick up all 9 shades, but i managed to shorten it to my four favourites (Superdrug have a 2 for £7 offer at the moment).

From left to right...

Eat My Dust, Pole Position, Lap of Honour & In a Heart Beat.
You're probably asking, does is actually dry in seconds? I wouldn't say seconds, but a single layer drys within 30 seconds ready for it's next top up, which to me is pretty impressive. I managed to paint my nails within 3 coats, I did do each layer quite thinly so I felt it was needed for a third coat. Their new wider brushes makes it so much easier to apply the polish to nail. It being the perfect width for anyone's nails, it makes the application feel smoother and nicer, which I like a lot.

Overall, I'm pretty excited about this new release. Barry M are my favourite brand for nail polishes and they're always bringing out the perfect colours for me. Pastels are gorgeous colours and they chose well with the 9 colours in this range.

Will you be picking any up?

I really love the colours but I tend to have awful experiences with Barry M nail polishes drying out really quickly - especially the pale colours! Is that just me?
