I know you're probably thinking... Blackpool? In Winter? Bitch cray. Yeah i am. Myself and my boyfriend planned a quick getaway to Blackpool for the end of Janaury. I was prepared for the cold, windy weather, i wasn't going for a nice beach holiday anyway. It's just nice to go away somewhere and breathe some fresh (very, very fresh) air. Due to the weather, i didn't really get many pictures of my surroundings sadly. At one point the wind was blowing from two different directions and it froze me in my spot. My boyfriend literally had to pull me along the sea front!
We did manage to visit the Sea Life Centre and Madame Tussauds which was amazing! I'd never been to either before so i was super excited to be experiencing something completely new to me. I took so many pictures of all the beautiful sea creatures, the Ray Fishes completely stole my heart. The way they were swimming so elegantly in the tanks i fell in love. I need my own Ray (so i could call him Ray). It was so cool and terrifying to see how huge some of the fish actually are. Truly scared the shit out of me at some moments of my trip around the Centre.
Madame Tussauds was an experience. I didn't expect to be so freaked out by them, but they were SO life like it was crazy. Such an amazing thing to see up close, creepily amazing.
It was just so nice to get away for a few days, bad weather or not, it really didn't matter to me. I do want to go back when everything is fully open, you can't expect much for a winter holiday to Blackpool! I definately spent way too much in the arcades, but that's what holidays are for! Right...?
Have you ever been to Blackpool?
