Animal Experience at Hoo Farm, Telford

Whilst on the hunt for ideal gifts for my Boyfriends birthday, I was looking on Groupon to find something new for us to experience together. I'd luckily heard about Hoo Farm from people in the past, it being more than just a 'Farm', more like a mini Zoo! The experience packages on their website were £150 for two, Groupon doing a deal for £59 I just knew I had to snap that right up! With 3 hours full of animal encounters, it really was a fun new experience for us to do together.

Our morning included feeding two cheeky Lemurs, meeting a beautiful Serval cat, and even meeting and holding snakes (+much more). It was surreal to be on the other side of the animal enclosures, actually stepping into essentially their homes was a little daunting but so cool. Being up and close with such beautiful animals was incredible. My personal highlight of the whole experience was being able to meet two hand-reared Meerkats. SO. CUTE. We both had the opportunity to have Meerkat cuddles, which I'm still so chuffed we were able to do. My little Meerkat friend definitely found a comfy spot inside my jacket and fell right asleep, my heart was melting! I managed to take a few snaps whilst we were meeting the animals, plus we also got to enjoy the rest of the Zoo which also meant... OTTERS! I was so happy to find they had a little family of Otters, they're my absolute favourites. I honestly could of pulled up a chair and sat there all day watching them. Their little personalities are so fascinating to me, I'm obsessed.

It's a perfect little gift for any Animal lover.

Scrapbooking Photos with Printiki

We are most definitely at the peak of living in a Social Media influenced world, anywhere I look I can guarantee I'll see at least one person using their phone. People are obsessed with sharing their lives through technology, it's incredible how far we've progressed. I can remember going on trips as a kid and every chance my Mom had, she'd be snapping away with her Disposable Camera. Remember those beauties? Having no clue how the photographs actually turned out until they'd been developed weeks later. I miss it. I honestly feel with how we share our photographs online, having physical photographs seem to have faded out.

I made a promise to myself that I'd document my trips and adventures I take through photographs, and that I would physically have them printed to keep, to journal with, to enjoy until my heart was content. It's a very satisfying feeling to be able to hold my photographs, it sounds weird because it is. We're so used to scrolling through Facebook and Instagram checking out new photos people have uploaded that it's rare to see people sat together having a look through albums full of photos they've taken. Crazy world, eh?

So far I've managed to document the trips I've taken this year, it's a nice reminder and it's amazing to look back on. I also printed out some of my Instagram photos, as Printiki makes it incredibly easy to do so. With a few clicks, I was able to connect my Instagram profile to their website and I simply ticked off which photographs I wanted to print and boom. Done. I had my photographs printed in the Retro style (Polaroid look) and also with a Matte finish. The quality is wonderful and they were a great size too! It's a great way for me to include my everyday snaps in my Photobook and my Bullet Journal!

If you're ever interested in checking the website out, I'd highly reccomend doing so! I can even give you a cheeky link to FREE Postage! I don't know about you, but not having to pay for postage is always a winner for me. Just click the link and you're good to go! :) You can also check Printiki out on Instagram too.

Do you like keeping your memories online or are you a Scrapbook lover like me?

STAR WARS Identities Exhibition: London

For years and years now, I was completely oblivious to the world of Star Wars... I vaguely remember watching them as a kid, having an older Brother and Dad around, I was always conscious of their film choices and such, but never took full notice really. Honestly, what a regret that was. I suppose we all live and learn by our mistakes and I've definitely tried to make up for all the lost years for sure.

I spotted that Star Wars were having an exhibition in London, around the time it being my boyfriends birthday, it was only perfect that I suggested to him that we should visit London to go check it out. Him being a huge Star Wars fan (I have a lot to thank him for), it was an ideal gift and I was ready to divulge into the world of Star Wars a little deeper...

The actual exhibition was at the London o2 Area, so I was excited to finally visit as I hadn't before, I'd never properly visited London if I'm honest, I've lived a very sheltered life up until now, that's for sure. The tickets were £25 each which I think for what the Exhibition was, is a fantastic price. You're definitely getting your moneys worth, and it's not a timed visit either. Spend all day there if you please, soak all that Star Wars goodness in! We were greeted and given little ear devices which had a sensor at every stop of the exhibit, giving us plenty of information and facts about the making of certain characters/props. Alongside that, there was tons of drawings, models, outfits which all were legitimate props from the movies which was incredible to see. Some of my favourites included the actual R2-D2, in which voice actor Kenny Baker actually was able to climb inside of the lovable little droid, which I didn't know. See, you do learn something new! I certainly did. Another favourite was the Slave Costume that Princess Leia wore in Return of the Jedi, it was so cool to see. I didn't imagine I'd be able to see such iconic costumes for real, and they really did not disappoint.

Another addition to the Exhibition was the 'Identities' part, which really was what it was all about. At the start, you're given a little wristband to use throughout, they ask you questions about your personality, where you see yourself living in the world of Star Wars, what you think your role would be and ultimately, if turning to the Dark Side is something that you see yourself doing. (dun dun dunnn). It was a fun little interactive quest added to all of the knowledge you're gaining whilst you're there.

Overall, I really enjoyed this experience. I'm so glad I was able to visit and I honestly think that it's a perfect little trip for any Star Wars fan. It was so cool to see fans of all ages appreciating the art behind Star Wars.

Stranger Things Pop Vinyl: Eleven with Eggos

In 2016, our TV (Netflix) screens were once again blessed with possibly one of the best TV Series to date. Netflix brought out the whole First Season, 8 Episodes packed full of action, emotion, fear and excitement. It quickly became a lot of peoples favourite new show to binge, as it was very easy to finish the whole lot within a day, as I'm sure many people did. Of course being a Pop Vinyl lover, I was curious to see what they were going to do with the characters we all loved throughout the first season. I knew I had to get my hands on them.

With no real introduction needed for such a stand out character, meet Eleven. What I love most about what this Toy Collecting company does, is the amount of detail they are able to put into each of these little characters. Though some can be hard to identify with the first initial look, I honestly think they nailed Elevens aesthetic down to a T. I could easily figure out who I was looking at without the box, and that's what I love about her so much. She has such a distinctive look, from her buzz cut hair to the famous Eggo Waffles she loved so much.

Can we just discuss the detail on that bloody Eggo box? I was honestly so chuffed with the attention they gave on the tiny little details on Eleven. Even down to her watch that Mike gave her to wear, amazing. Overall, it really is a great addition to my Pop collection and if anything it just gets me more excited waiting for Season Two that's coming out in October. Can that hurry up please?!

Have you ever watched Stranger Things? I recently re-watched it and fell in love all over again.

Oh, Vienna...

I could try and give you a full, in detail description of the city, but that still wouldn't do it justice to how beautiful it really is. A city full of so much history and art, it really is a place you need to visit. If you've never thought about visiting Austria, hopefully after reading this post I'll have changed your mind... I never imagined I'd be able to visit such a magnificent city like Vienna, it honestly was a last minute pick and I'm so so happy that we chose to visit Austria. Sometimes the unexpected trips are the best trips to have... But you know me, I got incredibly photo happy and made sure I took plenty within the week I was there. With a tube station at every place possible, it was super easy and super quick to travel. It quickly became our best friend and it was very easy to follow at each station. Giving you the best possible chance to visit every inch of Vienna.

I'll keep it short and sweet though. The photographs will definitely be able to give you a better idea of just how magnificent the city was...

Looking at these photographs has given me such an itch to travel again, but where to go next?
